In September 2020, Hayat Mirshad coordinated with Dak Organization for Ezidi Women Development in Irbil- Iraq within a project aiming to increase women (18-55 years old) participation in conflict prevention and decision making inside the family and community in Sinjar, in partnership with Rainbow NGO and funded by UN Women. Mirshad conducted 6 days online training on advocacy and campaigning for women’s rights targeting 75 Ezidi women and young girls from different governorates in Irbil.
